Could you give a brief account of your professional background and experiences? What is the motivation that fuels your daily routines?

I’ve been in the practice for nearly two decades. I started in a law office based in Paranaque City then moved to a law office in Makati City in 2007. I progressed and became a Senior Associate in my previous firm and even weathered its dissolution in 2013. I joined Cruz Marcelo & Tenefrancia (CMT) in 2013 and was admitted to the Partnership in 2018, overseeing diverse legal areas. Simultaneously, I was appointed as part of CMT’s Management Committee, and a Commissioner for the Commission on Bar Discipline in 2019, earning recognition in 2022.

My motivation stems from the joy of continuous learning, evolving practice areas, and in organizational and personal growth. Managing day-to-day operations, setting objectives, and fostering staff empowerment are ongoing sources of fulfillment.

The emphasis on pushing boundaries and stepping out of my comfort zone became a defining aspect of my character. As an Ateneo alum, I'm actively involved as a volunteer lawyer for the Ateneo Legal Services Center, offering pro bono legal aid to indigent litigants.
