Could you please provide a brief summary of your professional journey?

I have over 25 years of extensive experience in managing various aspects of organizations in the healthcare industry, including P&L, Sales, Operations (both Presales and Service), Service delivery, Quality, Service commercial, Channel Management, Team Management, and Customer Management. Currently, I hold the position of Country Manager for India &  South Asia & Board member at Lumenis BE India. In my previous roles, I served as the Operations Head (Presales & Service), Director of Services, and Business Manager for Service Projects in the Asia Pacific region at Lumenis. Additionally, I have worked with GE Healthcare, where I held various positions and played a key role in driving significant business growth. Got specialized Senior Leadership/Management trainings - FOL, NMDC, FLLT, CMDC & AMC at GE Healthcare organised by GE Crotonville.

What has been your key to success throughout your journey?

I began my career as a service engineer and gradually worked my way up to the position of Country Manager. A crucial aspect of my success has been embracing the mindset of ‘If you don't know how to do it, say yes to yourself and then learn how to do it’. This attitude has truly made a difference in my professional growth. Having the right vision and selfbelief are the most critical factors for success. As a leader, your confidence has a transformative effect on the entire domain or organization. It is essential to focus more on effective planning, and controllable, and timely execution rather than solely on the results. Maintaining alternative plans (plan B and C) and being able to execute them is vital. Your approach should be proactive rather than reactive. Additionally, adopting a customer-centric approach and developing expertise in your specific domain greatly contribute to business growth.
