Could you give a brief account of Fauxell’s journey in the legal services domain so far?

In 2017, we embarked on our journey as a legal translation company, anchored by my law background and expertise. Gradually, we evolved, owing to a chance encounter with a perceptive business person. Inspired by the advice, we researched the Indonesian market and identified a glaring gap. Legal services were often equated with business licenses, entangled in bureaucracy and low literacy rates. Armed with data-driven insights, we set out to revolutionize the legal landscape. Though the road was rough, we persisted, starting with SME clients and forging partnerships for growth. From co-working spaces to our office, every step has been an indescribable personal and professional experience. Today, we remain committed to making legal services accessible and comprehensible, driven by the vision that sparked this exceptional journey.

Tell us about your flagship offerings and what makes you a reliable choice among your clients.

Our approach to legal services sets us apart from others in the industry. We generously share knowledge through free 30-minute consultations, a rarity among competitors who charge steep fees. Prioritizing affordability, we cater to micro, small, and medium enterprises, offering valuable education during consultations. We also save clients' time by providing the information they need without requiring them to read extensively. Instead of empty promises, we focus on reliable support pre- and post-service, fostering trust with clients. Our flagship product, the support, and consultation during the process of obtaining business licenses such as the OSS, relief our clients’ disinterest in learning new systems, acting as their dependable proxy. This empathetic approach differentiates us in the market.

Mistakes are humane, what sets us apart from the rest is the ability to introspect & come back stronger

How do you add value to stakeholders through your offerings?

When clients have us by their side, they feel an unparalleled sense of safety and empowerment. Our friendly approach makes them believe they have supportive friends with legal expertise. Affordable pricing brings a much-needed sense of relaxation, alleviating financial worries. By never making empty promises, we assure them they are in capable hands, allowing them to focus on their business without distractions. The burdensome business licensing process often consumes valuable time, but with us, they find peace of mind. Our commitment to giving back through free services and a thirst for educating others sets us apart. Knowledge flows freely, akin to tap water, a rarity in our industry. These unshakable values define our unparalleled position in the market.

What is the future roadmap envisioned for Fauxell?

Amidst the pandemic-driven turnover, our team embarked on introspection, recognizing the need for internal growth before pursuing external expansion. I took the initiative to document our system, encouraging evaluation and refinement collaboratively. External growth had overshadowed internal fortification, risking our resilience against competition. Also, systemizing standard procedures and fostering habits became our priority.

In Yogyakarta, our pilot project signifies our short-term focus on internal team growth. Although it challenged me to share burdens as CEO, the collective effort was vital. Moreover, success here will lead to expansion in other cities and eventually, international markets, serving as a bridge for foreign investors and empowering Indonesian SMEs in global ventures. In addition, participation in ASEAN events exemplifies our commitment to global market expansion and a legacy for Fauxell's lasting impact.
