Following the completion of my Master's degree in marketing at Kingston University in London, my professional journey took an unexpected turn when I traveled to India and connected with a friend. Recognizing the untapped potential of Indian tourists visiting Thailand, I founded Feel Good Holiday in 2016. Since then, we've evolved into a prominent B2B Thailand destination management company, collaborating with numerous travel agents across India.

Each day, my motivation stems from the belief that our work transcends mere pleasure, aiming to enrich people's lives with significance through travel experiences. Whether facilitating corporate trips, team-building, or enhancing workforce dynamics, our role in the travel industry inspires me to continually strive for excellence.

Feel Good Holiday is positioned as a specialized B2B travel agency with expertise in MICE, corporate travel, and events, primarily catering to the Indian and Middle Eastern markets. Currently, we hold licenses for both inbound and outbound travel, with a current emphasis on inbound travel experiences. Our unique value proposition lies in transforming travel into a purposeful experience beyond mere pleasure. We are dedicated to crafting distinctive journeys by leveraging the expertise of our team, fostering innovation, and delivering exceptional services. Feel Good Holiday stands committed to redefining travel through unparalleled quality and a client-centric approach.

As the Managing Director, what are the factors you take into account when developing effective corporate growth strategies?

My approach to crafting effective corporate growth strategies revolves around leveraging our core strengths. In 2023, we identified that the majority of our revenue stems from B2B MICE and corporate travel segments. Our focus is on fortifying and diversifying these strengths. Emphasizing our proficiency in corporate and MICE travel, our growth strategy centers on enhancing what we excel at, ensuring not only strength but also variety in our offerings for sustained development in the dynamic business landscape.

How have you built the team and how do you guide them to deliver a seamless holiday experience for travelers?

I prioritize open communication within the team, valuing and incorporating their feedback. Empowering each member with decision-making authority aligned with their roles fosters initiative and autonomy. This approach enables the team to make informed decisions and take initiatives without constant approval-seeking, fostering a culture of independent thinking. By instilling critical thinking and decision-making skills, I believe in empowering the team to contribute independently, ensuring a seamless holiday experience for travelers through efficient and responsive decision-making.

Tell us about your leadership approach. What are the guidelines/methodologies you follow as a leader?

My leadership approach centers on a perceptive vision, incorporating constant analysis of market trends, industry knowledge, and evolving customer behaviors. Proactive leadership involves not just foreseeing but also regularly updating strategies to align with market dynamics. Equally crucial is fostering a leadership culture within the team, empowering each member to contribute as a leader, and amplifying our collective impact. Above all, customer satisfaction is paramount in our company, guiding strategic decisions and daily operations.

What is the future destination you are headed for?

Currently, with a focus on inbound travel, our licensed capabilities extend to both outbound and inbound tourism. Starting the first quarter of the upcoming year, we are poised to shift attention to outbound travel. Having conducted thorough research and development on the preferences of the Thai market, we plan to promote and expand into destinations such as Japan, Georgia, Turkey, and Europe. These strategic expansions align with our commitment to offering diverse and appealing travel experiences to our clientele.

In light of your strong professional experience within the industry, what would be your advice to budding industry leaders?

In today's highly competitive market, my advice to emerging leaders is to avoid a sole emphasis on price reduction and cost-cutting measures. Instead, concentrate on showcasing your unique strengths and value propositions. Providing distinctive and enriching experiences should be the primary focus. Customers are willing to invest when they perceive genuine value. Therefore, prioritize effectiveness in service provision over indiscriminate cost reduction. By focusing on your strengths and delivering meaningful experiences, you build a strong foundation for long-term success in the dynamic tourism industry.
