Let’s hear more from him in this one-on-one interaction.
Could you provide a brief overview of your professional background and journey? What drives your daily activities?
I received training from my parents, who established RG Meditron, where I gained experience across various areas such as sales, marketing, supply chain, finance, accounting, and corporate affairs. Over time, these experiences have honed my skills, leading me to my current role as Director. As Director, I focus on setting the overall direction through Corporate Strategic Plans developed in collaboration with my siblings and the executive team, ensuring efficient implementation through diligent monitoring. Additionally, I lead the development of the company's Annual Business Plans with support from the executive and management teams.
My motivation stems from preserving the enduring legacy of the company, founded by my dedicated and passionate parents. Their ethos of 'Service with a Heart' has evolved into our current philosophy of 'Elevating Philippine healthcare through service with a heart'.
Could you share the distinctive experiences provided by Ateneo de Manila University and the lessons you gained beyond academic studies?
My time at the Ateneo has profoundly influenced the person I've become. Guided by the Ignatian Values, I've embraced a life centered on Christ and infused with compassion, commitment, competence, and conscience—the five C's instilled through my Ateneo education. These principles serve as my compass, empowering me to pursue my goals and persevere through challenges. One of my core aspirations is to actively contribute to the social and economic advancement of underserved communities, by spearheading sustainable livelihood projects, improving healthcare accessibility, and facilitating access to quality education.
I am committed to investing in the career growth & well-being of our employees, as well as making meaningful contributions to the communities we serve
Furthermore, the notion of Magis, meaning 'greater,' has deeply resonated with me. I constantly strive to improve and expand my efforts. Each day brings new learning opportunities, which I leverage to enhance my existing plans of action. Every positive endeavor I undertake is driven by a commitment to serve God, encapsulated in the Latin phrase 'Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam,' signifying 'for the greater glory of God.'
