A prime example is the Lasallian Spirit of Faith, which helps us recognize God's active presence in our daily lives. Personally, this has given me the confidence to overcome struggles and hardships. Additionally, through service-learning initiatives, students engage with real-world issues, fostering a sense of social responsibility and empathy. Beyond academic knowledge, DLSU Philippines instills values of community engagement, cultural diversity, innovation, and global citizenship, shaping students into well-rounded individuals prepared for success in their future endeavors.

Describe your leadership approach. What guidelines or methodologies do you follow as a leader?

As a leader, I emphasize the importance of balancing both soft skills and technical skills to achieve our goals. On the soft skills side, I prioritize leadership, interpersonal skills, and communication. Effective leadership involves not only guiding the team but also inspiring and motivating them. Strong interpersonal skills are crucial for building positive relationships and fostering a collaborative work environment. Communication skills are vital for clearly conveying ideas and expressing the emotions and intentions behind them, ensuring that messages are understood and embraced.

On the technical skills side, I focus on ensuring that our daily tasks are performed with dedication and excellence. This includes overseeing the execution of routine responsibilities and leading projects aimed at developmental growth. These projects often involve learning new skills and creating streamlined processes to enhance productivity and simplify our daily tasks. By fostering the development of both soft and technical skills, I aim to create a well-rounded team capable of meeting challenges, driving innovation, and achieving success in all endeavors.

I employ a multi-faceted approach to stay updated with industry trends. One key method is conducting regular competitor analyses. By closely monitoring our competitors, I gain insights into their strategies, strengths, and weaknesses. This helps us identify market trends, potential opportunities, and areas where we can differentiate ourselves to gain a competitive edge. Additionally, I make it a priority to stay abreast of all relevant laws, regulations, and circulars. Regularly reviewing updates from regulatory bodies and industry associations ensures our operations remain compliant and allows us to anticipate and adapt to changes in the legal landscape, minimizing risks and positioning us to seize new opportunities arising from regulatory changes.

Another essential practice is conducting regular SWOT (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) analyses to assess our internal capabilities and external environment. This strategic tool helps us identify core competencies and areas for improvement, as well as potential opportunities and threats in the market.
