Satheesh is a diligent leader who started his career with his father’s logistics business and led it successfully for 18 years. It’s been only two years since he established his own company JPS Global Logistics, and in such a short period, he has been able to grow his business exponentially. When asked about his objective behind the inception of the company, he says, “I was eager to grow further into the logistics industry and take my skills to the next level”. A technophile leader, Satheesh is passionately enthusiastic about advanced technology and aspires to bring state-of-the-art features & services to his organization to provide trouble-free transport for his customers. Define JPS Global Logistics as an organization and its service portfolio that keeps it afloat in the industry.
JPS Global Logistics is one of the leading freight forwarders companies situated in Malaysia. The company is committed to providing top-notch services to its customer through innovative service and technology. The mission of this organization is to provide customers with desired personalized service to fulfill their needs. We treat our customers as our partners to provide value for our services by improvising the processes related to logistics in the most cost-efficient and quick manner. The vast range of services is the main reason which helps the company to stay afloat among others.
What changes did you bring into the organization, its structure, and policies that are driving the company to grow fast? What has been your success mantra?
I have taken initiatives to amplify the predictability of the sales, which has made it easier for me to improve and increase operations. Through improvising the inbound and outbound logistics, I've always been focused to encourage the employees to gather information regarding our potential customers and provide personalized service to them. I have followed the strategy of word of mouth, which in return the reputation of the brand has enhanced and it has made more customers reach us for their needs. I keep trying until success knocks on my door and this is the mantra that I have followed throughout my journey.
What are the most promising prospects in the contemporary logistic industry? Also, what are your future objectives?
The most promising prospects are the growth of autonomous vehicles and 3D printing for producing on-demand products for customers. Furthermore, implementation of technology-based applications through which our customers will be able to access their orders with more ease. My future objective is to build JPS as a brand that will be identifiable by its name. I am also looking for better opportunities in the oil and gas telecommunication industries and aviation logistics.
What advice would you give to the upcoming leaders in the logistic industry?
My suggestion for upcoming leaders would be to follow the success mantra which is best suited for them as it will take them beyond their limits and help them build something remarkable.
