The Asian Institute of Management (AIM), best known for its master's and doctoral programs, is expanding its academic offerings to include senior high school graduates. AIM is now marking its inaugural venture into undergraduate education in partnership with the University of Houston. The institute is launching a dual degree program that will award graduates with diplomas from both prestigious institutions. The curriculum of this dual degree program is meticulously designed to integrate data science with essential business and leadership competencies, with the objective of cultivating the next generation of industry leaders.

Over the years, collaboration has become an important aspect of education. Given the dynamic transformations that the industry realm is undergoing, sharing knowledge in real-time can improve education and make it more relevant to the industry, reducing the industry-academia gap. By collaborating across different fields, institutions can enhance their creativity, innovation, and problem-solving skills and better serve their students and communities.

AIM has always been at the forefront of this approach. Last year, AIM explored this collaborative aspect of business education by joining hands with the Cambridge Family Enterprise Group to introduce a ‘multi-generational business’ program. Established in 1968, AIM was founded through a collaborative effort involving Ateneo de Manila University, De La Salle University, the University of the Philippines, Harvard Business School, the Ford Foundation, and esteemed members of the Asian academic and business sectors. This special yearly issue of CEO Insights Asia magazine is dedicated to the prestigious alumni of the institute who have been at the forefront of innovation and business leadership. Do let us know your thoughts.
