Going green is not a feel-good option for the world anymore. It's not only that the largest universities in the world can't forfeit this requirement; they need to sow the right mindset in their students, the future decision-makers and leaders. One of the globally leading business schools setting high benchmarks is INSEAD (Institut Européen d'Administration des Affaires), a non-profit graduate business school that maintains campuses in France, Singapore, and the United Arab Emirates.INSEAD has always been sensitive to this vital need and has progressively incorporated sustainability topics into its MBA curriculum. This includes all 14 core courses and a mandatory 3-day real-life business simulation capstone. The new MBA curriculum was rolled out this year. In fact, this also aligns with the institute's recent initiatives aimed at reinforcing the school's mission of bringing together people, cultures and ideas to develop responsible leaders who transform business and society. Mark Stabile, Dean of Degree Programs, puts it this way: "One of the reasons we have remained at the top, aside from producing top-tier research, is our close connection to the business world. INSEAD not only responds to trends but also strives to set them by staying attuned to global developments." This refreshed curriculum will help equip future leaders with a holistic business foundation and the vital skills to amalgamate social and environmental challenges into business decisions. We congratulate INSEAD on this futuristic decision and wish them the best of luck as we present this year's special issue dedicated to the prestigious alumni of INSEAD.
