The trade ministry data shows that South Korea received $18.8 billion of funds in 2023, which was 3.4 percent higher than the previous year, and the electronics sector contributed $3 billion of that amount. The data manifests the technology ambitions of the country, and more companies are channeling funds into the transformation department. The changing technology landscape and the rise of the hybrid work culture trend have increased organizations' demand for digital transformation. However, digital transformation is never an easy plan to execute, given that customer experience needs constant improvement. These two factors create a risky environment for organizations, as they attract cyber-attackers. The rapid growth of the internet and cloud and IT industry was a positive outcome of the pandemic, but the cyber attackers exploited this opportunity, and the results were disastrous.The IDC predicts that global security spending will grow from $219 billion this year to almost $300 billion in 2026. It is obvious that, no matter how big or small your business is, you always face the threat of cyberattacks. You need to create a more secure environment for your business by hiring cybersecurity experts. On the marketing side, organizations cannot afford to experiment anymore, making leadership even more challenging. Businesses need to rely on the most trustworthy source of information: Customer data. Data helps to understand the target audience better and enables organizations to establish more robust relationships with prospective customers.
