This move will help multiply present payment channels and discover new territories in a region contributing 46% of total global game revenues. The latest move by the company will see the firm integrate local payment methods such as Maya, PayNow, WeChat Pay HK, JazzCash, and Easypaisa in a bid to carve out a niche for itself among gamers in the Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Pakistan.
This will enable game developers to reach more than 76 million gamers across these markets while raising conversion rates by offering the development of localized payment interfaces and local processing. In terms of the leading payment solutions in these regions, partnering with Xsolla positions the latter as one of the key enablers of growth for game publishers eyeing the lucrative Asian gaming market.
Other essential integrations included Maya, the fastest-growing digital bank in the Philippines and the number one-rated consumer finance app on Google Play Store and Apple Store. In Singapore, PayNow is a real-time payment channel that offers universal access from its comprehensive network of banks tightly secured for over 5 million users.
