EYEY has appointed Joongshik Wang as the new EY-Parthenon Asia-Pacific Leader, expanding his current responsibilities as EY-Parthenon Leader for ASEAN and Singapore to now oversee the broader region’s development and strategic initiatives. Based in Singapore, Wang will continue in his existing role and join both the Asia-Pacific Strategy and Transactions Executive Team and the EY-Parthenon Global Leadership Team.

The appointment reflects EY’s commitment to harnessing Asia-Pacific’s rapid economic growth potential, according to John van Rossen, Global EY-Parthenon Leader, who highlighted the region’s valuable opportunities for global businesses. Wang brings over 20 years of experience to the role, having previously served as a partner at Kearney Singapore, where he specialized in corporate and business strategies for multinational corporations and conducted commercial due diligence for private equity firms. His extensive work across ASEAN, Korea, and Greater China uniquely positions him to lead EY-Parthenon’s growth initiatives in the dynamic Asia-Pacific market.

Wang acknowledged the increasing complexity of challenges facing companies in the region, such as geopolitical uncertainties and disruptive technologies, and stressed the importance of transformative strategies to drive sustainable value. He expressed enthusiasm about guiding EY-Parthenon’s efforts to help clients navigate this critical phase of growth across the Asia-Pacific.
