BoxcoWorld Onboards DP World to Setup Warehousing Facility in UAE
BoxcoWorld FZE, a provider of end-to-end multimodal logistics solutions, and DP World have inked a preliminary agreement under which the latter will invest AED 100 million to establish a storage facility in the Jebel Ali Free Zone of the United Arab Emirates.
The facility will offer 40,000 cubic metres of robotic polymer racking and a handling capacity of 15,000 Twenty Foot Equivalent Units (TEUs) to give clients with customised on-site storage solutions that meet their specific demands, BoxcoWorld said.
The warehouse will serve the storage requirements of goods from various businesses adjusting to the shifting dynamics of global trade and customer expectations.
The waste paper will be re-exported to markets in the Indian subcontinent and Far East Asian regions following the sorting and repackaging process provided by the industrial bloc, which will handle waste paper imports, mostly from the US and Europe.
