Air Products Qudra inks agreement with saudi firm ENOWA to Build, Own and Operate NEOM's First Hydrogen Fueling Station
The first hydrogen fueling station for NEOM will be built, owned, and operated by Air Products Qudra in order to support NEOM's sustainability objectives. ENOWA is NEOM's subsidiary for energy, water, and hydrogen.
The programme will assist NEOM in decarbonizing buses and large trucks as well as other heavy modes of transportation. The hydrogen fueling station's foundation work is expected to start in the second half of 2023.
Commenting on the signing, Ebubekir Koyuncu, Air Products Qudra's Chief Executive Officer, said: "We look forward to contributing our world-leading hydrogen expertise and fueling technology in support of NEOM's decarbonization goals. Producing and distributing clean hydrogen energy solutions for use in heavy-duty fuel cell vehicles, as well as industrial applications and energy storage, is part of our DNA."
