How has your professional journey been so far? What is the motivation that fuels your daily routines?

I embarked on my professional journey as an electrical and electronics engineer, delving into research and development as an algorithm developer for high-tech companies in Israel. Engineering provided a creative and technical outlet for my deep passion for technology. However, my thirst for knowledge led me to pursue an MBA, enabling me to explore the business side of the technological ecosystem. Transitioning into marketing, I joined L'OREAL, a renowned institution, where I honed my skills and held various positions.

Nevertheless, my true passion for technology led me back to the tech world, where I held significant roles at Microsoft and several other companies, spearheading marketing, communications, investor relations, and business development. Currently, at Windward, I lead global marketing and investor relations, playing a vital role in the company's recent public listing. I am driven by a deep love for technology, a solid obsession with marketing, and a profound belief that our work should positively impact the world. Leveraging technology for sustainability, vessel safety, and global trade acceleration fulfills my purpose of making the world a better place.

How would you define Windward as an organization and its current position in the market?

Windward stands as a pioneering force in the tech industry, distinguished as the leading maritime AI company. As the CMO, what are the latest strategic plans you have adopted to expand/optimize operations and engage new audiences in the market?

Around a year ago, we took a significant stride by expanding our decision support platform to encompass the maritime supply chain. This bold move marked an exciting chapter for the company, presenting ample opportunities in this new addressable market. We recognize the strategic value and potential that our offerings bring to the supply chain industry. Marketing and positioning play a pivotal role in this expansion, as we adapt our messaging to resonate with diverse personas and target audiences within this distinct sector. Content creation stands as a core aspect of our approach, leveraging the vast data we aggregate as a maritime AI company to produce insightful content that highlights market trends, compliance, and regulations.

We actively disseminate this information across various channels, ensuring it reaches our customers, prospects, and the broader community. Our commitment to being a knowledge base within the ecosystem extends to data-driven marketing, where we generate reports based on the insights derived from our system. These reports, such as port insights and risk analysis, facilitate an easier comprehension of trends and serve as valuable resources for stakeholders, including media and analysts. By sharing our expertise, we contribute to the education and overall understanding of the dynamic ecosystem we operate in.

What is the future destination you are heading towards?

My goal is to have a positive impact on the world. Through our technological endeavors, we actively contribute to sustainability and strive to make the world a better place. At Windward, we recognize the power of technology in influencing decarbonization efforts and reducing our carbon footprint. This remains a prominent concern for us. As I envision the future, I am filled with excitement about the company's growth and the everyday contributions I make in sharing the remarkable Windward story. Focused on these aspirations, I am driven to continue our mission of creating a brighter and more sustainable future through innovation and dedicated efforts.
